Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools are focusing on strong leadership as the education group prepares for its next stage of growth. The Annual Leadership Meet in Navi Mumbai brought together principals and leadership team members from different VIBGYOR schools across India. The three day event gave school leaders an opportunity to discuss the future of education and the Group’s plan to reach more than 80 schools.
The theme of the gathering was “Navigating the Next Horizon: Charting the Course to 80+ Schools.” The theme reflected the Group’s growth plans while also highlighting the importance of maintaining educational standards. For VIBGYOR the journey towards 80+ schools is not only about opening more campuses. It is also about creating a positive experience for students families teachers and school communities.
Rustom Kerawalla spoke about the importance of quality during this next phase. He explained that the real goal behind the expansion is to maintain the quality of the experience provided to every child and family. His message placed leadership at the heart of VIBGYOR’s future. School leaders will have an important role in making sure that growth does not affect the values and standards of the institution.
The leadership meet also included discussions about the changing needs of students parents and educators. Principals shared experiences from their campuses and discussed ideas that could support better school environments. These conversations allowed leaders from different locations to learn from each other and understand the challenges faced by schools today.
Four panel discussions were an important part of the event. The Future of Schooling session looked at how schools can prepare students for a changing world. The Parents and Community discussion focused on building stronger relationships with families and the wider community. The Teachers of the Future panel highlighted the need for capable and committed educators. Another session focused on the business side of education and the need for responsible planning to support long term growth.
Vice Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla also highlighted the role of principals. She noted that principals are responsible for building not only schools but also communities. Her message reinforced the importance of cooperation between students parents teachers and school leaders.
The event also featured motivational sessions by Brigadier Baleyada Muthanna Cariappa and Indian Paralympian Deepa Malik. Their experiences offered lessons in resilience discipline and leadership.
